1. Tell us a bit about yourself?
I'm Adam Sale, an energetic, bouncy individual who lives and breathes music. Also a born and bred Brummie - just without the silly accent. A multi-instrumentalist, playing Piano, Guitar, Flute, Singing and of course, songwriting. Musical genre best described as a Pop/Rock Singer-Songwriter.
2. There are a lot of emerging artists in the UK right now. What sets you apart from the rest?
I grew up going to concerts every week. From Bruce Springsteen, to Paul McCartney, to The Jam. Most bands your dad would listen to, I've seen them. From an early age, I knew that I wandered to bring back the acoustic driven rock feel bands back to the forefront of the music industry. After years of searching for and trying out things in bands, I decided that I was better of focusing on my solo work but bringing a pop rock band feel to it. I am aiming to create a sound like McFly, from a solo artist supported by a band, bringing that collective power to the stage.
3. What’s your back-story?
I believe that music, along with the rest of the Arts, is an absolute necessity to our society, bringing as much love, hope and faith than anything else. Music is like a modern religion, a paradise in which we find comfort, support and encouragement. Without it the world would be a much darker place.
4. What are you working on at the moment?
I am currently working as a self-employed musician, playing anywhere I can get a gig. Originals or cover gigs I will take them. You've got the make the money to continue on in life! I will be applying to numerous 2018 UK festivals, so keep an eye out for me on the smaller stages at your local summer fest!
