Combining a punchy chorus with thought provoking lyrics, Alfie Jack channel their exuberant outlook in a creative, alt pop sound.
Brothers 'Alfie' and 'Jack' (inventive, we know) began writing music in their home in Spalding, Lincolnshire in late 2012 and have been recording and releasing music onto major streaming & downloadable sites: iTunes, Spotify, AppleMusic etc. ever since.
Since late 2016, the brothers have been heavily supported by BBC Introducing in Lincolnshire and continue to be played regularly. In November 2016, they were approached to play a live session with BBC Introducing Lincolnshire and from that, have been song of the week on their show and performed at the BBC Introducing curated 'Plugged' event, held at the Lincoln Engine Shed.
The duo perform live with a sessions bassist and drummer and in have supported bands King No-One and NYTCLUB.
2018 looks to be a very busy year for Alfie Jack, with the upcoming release of their 3rd EP, with lead single 'No Guideline' being released on the 22nd of February. The EP (title yet to be announce) has been recorded, produced and mastered by Sean Read who's credit's include work with Manic Street Preachers, The Dexys, Chrissie Hynde, Beth Orton and The Rockingbirds.
Other than with the help of a producer for the recording of their tracks, Alfie Jack are a DIY duo who do all their own PR, management, photo's and video's. Believing that it gives them a more authentic edge. What you see is what you get and everything they shown is 100% their own vision and concept.
Festivals are where the brothers want to be in 2018, as they feel their sound would resonate well with that feel-good audience and vibe.
Still living in Lincolnshire, the brothers also strive to show that music from areas in the UK that are often overlooked *COUGH* Lincolnshire *COUGH* can produce good quality music and artists that are credible enough to break the stigma that you need to have a 'real job'.
Alfie Jack are full a passion, determination and, some might say, spunk! They pride themselves on turning a negative situation into a positive and want nothing more than to bring a little bit of joy to another persons life.
