TV Presenter & Actress
Tell us a bit about yourself? A singer and songwriter with a degree in Economics, who got lost in the land of secure living, until an unexpected event changed drastically the course of her life. Music has always been and will always be a part of who I am. My main inspiration is Michael Jackson, the reason being the fact that he was more than an incredible singer, he was an artist, a performer and someone who sang about meaningful things. He also managed to be a huge influence for a lot of people all other the world, something that no other artist has ever achieved.
There are a lot of emerging artists in the UK right now. What sets you apart from the rest? I have been blessed with many different life experiences that helped me understand life on a deeper level and that is reflected in my music and performance. And because I was hold back for doing what I love for so long, my passion and my love for music comes through when I perform in a strong way. You will feel it.
What’s your back-story? We tend to believe what other people tell us we are, when in fact those people only see a fraction of us. We tend to believe what others tell us is best for us, or we are best at, when in fact is their understanding of what is possible or achievable for them and it might be different for you. The truth is, the only person who has all the answers is you. And my Debut EP - Who I Am, is about finding who you really are through all experiences and challenges.
What are you working on at the moment? I have a music video in pre-production. I took my time with it because I want to do it right and get the right message across. Their will be few live shows coming up, we are currently in discussions with venues. I am also finalising some new songs that I will perform with my band exclusively in our live shows, with some surprises as the year unfolds. So you might want to stick around.
What's the first song you remember hearing? The first song I remember dancing to was the Brazilian Lambada by Kaoma, I was 6 years old and was the first choreography I learnt.
