Becky and the Holograms are a 4-piece Irish rock group from Belfast. Forming in mid-2016 the band have received rave reviews of debut album and release ‘Breaking Ties’ featuring 12 original tracks recorded and produced in ‘Grabaciones Sumergidas’ studio in the South of Spain. They have featured on National Spanish TV and radio, and track ‘War’ is used for Irish Celtic Boxing Champion Anthony ‘The Apache’ Cacace’s ring entrance. For Cacace's British Title fight on 15th July in Wembley Arena this year, the track was played to over 40,000 people and tens of thousands watching on TV.

Recently, the band have been working on a brand new EP after relocating to Madrid. They sold out their album launch concert in hometown Belfast and completed a mini summer tour of Andalusia, Northern England and Ireland. Before that, they were finalists in Cadiz' Lolatown competition and played at the prestigious GrazalemaFest.

Influences come from a range of sources, such as the Black Keys, Arctic Monkeys and Muse, to Catfish and the Bottlemen, Killers and Nothing but Thieves. The band pride themselves on a high-energy, upbeat live show that gets the adrenaline pumping. John is the lead singer and Gerard is lead guitarist. Both are from Belfast but moved to Cadiz in 2015 to live. After a year of writing acoustic material and playing in bars around the town, they met Esteban and Dani, two local Spanish musicians to complete the setup. Esteban is on drums and Dani on bass.

With the song writing process flowing nicely and rehearsals sounding solid, the foursome paired up with local producer Juan Antonio Mateos to record their first single 'Goodbye Baby'. After great receptions online and from radio play back in native Ireland, the band decided it was time to record the album. For the rest of the year, gigging was put on hold to focus on the recording process, and the finished product has went down very well with fans and critics alike. Burning Man music describe the band as an "Explosive Rock and Roll quartet with a high energy live show and a catalogue of songs that wouldn't sound out of place on a Black Keys or Arctic Monkeys record."

Their debut album is available on iTunes, Spotify and all major streaming devices and social media links can be found below:
