Learn more about me
Bloodhound are a Sludge & Grunge/Rock three-piece with a fierce & savage sound. Formed in Hull, UK in October 2015. Bloodhound are: Max Lilley (Vocals/Guitar), Will Biggs (Bass) and Bex Probert (Drums/Backing Vocals).
Our songs are crafted to balance melodic & catchy elements and the heavy & full on elements of our sound. Our musical backgrounds range from classic Grunge music to ambient dance, trance and indie music. As a band, our tastes vary hugely. We have two singles out currently, live favourite, ’So Close, Yet So Far’ and recent release, ’That Monday’. Both songs display our huge sound and our ability to produce commercial and catchy songs whilst pulling the grunge sound through to create a unique blend of sound. They follow two separate situations, one about a friend and one about a relative.
Bloodhound has plans for a debut album in 2018 and an EP in November 2017. The album will contain a ton more variation in our music, introducing new techniques, moods, feels and styles. We have already started pre-production on it, writing the songs and getting them up to scratch, and plan to start recording in Summer 2017. We like to turn it up to 11 when we play live by extending and adding new bits to our songs and we’re a very active band and like to take our sound to a new level. We want everyone there to feel like they’re experiencing something like no other Bloodhound show. We have played a multitude of shows in Hull including venues like O’Riley’s, The Adelphi, Hallgate Tavern, Hull University and Früit, where we supported Man of Moon on their UK tour. We aim to have a huge sound so we really go for it when we’re on stage with lights, stage presence and the overall sound of our instruments. We won’t play a song if we don’t think we’re going to nail it. We’re a very active band and like to take our sound to a new level by playing new songs and old songs as well, we like to let the audience know we're there by talking to them and interacting with them. We're a very hands-on band. All of our material is on Spotify, iTunes, Deezer, Amazon and all other good streaming and download services.
