Blushes are a four piece indie-alt band based in Aylesbury with influences of pop and RnB. Their unique sound pallet including male and female vocals and the element of hybrid electro/acoustic rhythm section is something that works very well. The four’s blend of vocals including the strength of Tiffany Marie’s alluring jazzy notes, electro-acoustic rhythm section and cutting guitar melodies make for an innovative
texture backboned by strong songwriting.
The band spent the first year as a band crafting the local music scene, and kicked off 2017 celebrating the release of their debut EP 'Private Viewing' with a sold out audience of almost 300 people. The band gained attention from BBC Introducing and London Live, becoming the most viewed session from an unsigned artist on the latter's platform.
The band have been featured by NME as their Under The Radar artist and have also been listed in their 'NME 100 Artists of 2018', describing Blushes as being "a concoction that slips down like a fruity cocktail on a summer's day". The band struggle pinning genres onto their music, but describe it as a mix of pop, rock, jazz and RnB.
Their track 'To The Bone' has been previously played on BBC Radio 1, after being personally contacted by the station. The track also has over 30,000 streams on Spotify and has been included in many 'Discover Weekly' playlists allowing people to hear their music all over the world.
The band have been working on their live performance and have played not only in London but have played across numerous cities and will be completing another UK tour later this year, to coincide with their next EP release.
