Home-grown talent from South East London, the four came together in 2015 after musical party antics turned into dynamic jamming sessions and inspired song writing - and now set to release their debut single "Leave It All Behind" on 31st October 2017, described by BBC Introducing Kent’s Abbie McCarthy – “We are playing the best, most exciting brand new music from our county, acts we are tipping for big things in the future, future headliners, future stars and I definitely think that could be true for this band”.

The honing of a distinct and fresh sound has been a natural progression that sparked from friendship and spirited chemistry - an infectious energy that comes alive through both the music and live performances.

The group unite in their love for 60's and 70's retro-psych referencing The Beatles and The Doors as foundation influences from the past and contemporary indie bands like Tame Impala and Foals. A modern interpretation of the psych sound that is rich, dark and full of explosive hooks and resounding character.

Touring live has been intrinsic to the development of Carnivals' cheeky stage style and captivating spacey signature sound, playing venues including The Lexington, Shacklewell Arms, 02 Islington Academy as well as invited to support bands like The Enemy, The Rifles and The Vryll Society and featuring on the roster for Isle of Wight Festival.

With original tracks born in Joe's would-be studio - a glorified shed - experimenting with pedals galore and quirky vocal effects, the quartet graft to create something that feels honest and tangibly alive.
