Daniel Swisher is a 24-year-old pop punk style musician from Chicago, Illinois. He is a guitarist/singer and has been playing guitar since he was about 12 years old. The first song he ever learned on guitar was "Welcome To Paradise" by Green Day.

Daniel says he takes inspiration from the punk bands that he grew up with like Green Day, Blink-182, Sum 41, Rise Against, etc. "The first punk song I ever heard was American Idiot by Green Day because it was on the soundtrack for Madden 2005, and it changed my life. When the song came on, I had honestly no idea what I was hearing or what they were saying, but I just knew I loved it. From there, I memorized Green Day's entire catalogue, going back to their older tracks from albums like Dookie, Insomniac, etc. I was then opened up to more punk bands. I became obsessed with the catchy hooks and the sound that the bands were able to produce. Up until now, I've spent my life studying this pop punk genre, and it is my passion to bring it back as strong as ever, with a modern twist."

Daniel's upcoming album, "The Red Age" will be his first original album. "I've always had a huge passion for doing cover songs. But now I feel ready to show the world my own music, which has been shaped by the punk musicians that I look up to."

Daniel produces punk covers/mashups on his YouTube channel and has released two singles from his upcoming album thus far. From the tracks released so far, "The Time Is Now" takes on a classic pop punk feel with a clear inspiration from Green Day's earlier days, while his most recent track "Up To You" maintains the catchy hooks while introducing an element of hardcore punk in the mix. "My goal is to find a bassist and a drummer that would like to be a part of my vision with The Red Age." In the mean time, Daniel is currently working on his new album, scheduled to be out by the end of 2018.
