Dopamine is a five-piece indie rock band. With a sound ranging from post-punk to Britpop, the band have been performing their distinct wall of sound around their local stomping ground of Brisbane, Australia. Having an affinity for 60's pop and 90's alternative, the group melds chiming guitar lines with swirling harmonies and a groove-heavy rhythm section.

There are a lot of emerging artists in the UK right now. What sets you apart from the rest?
We're louder than the rest.

What’s your back-story?
[Finley] I met Luke at university when we were put in the same group together. We quickly realised that we had very similar tastes in music and both wanted to start a band. I got talking to Diggsy and Ollie - who were doing the same course - and realised that they were keen to start a band as well. We started recording rough demos at my house and thought it sounded dope but Luke, Finn and I all played the guitar and none of us was keen to switch to bass. Luke told us that he had a mate from school who played bass, so he talked to Ruby and found out that she was keen... AND THE REST IS HISTORY.
