Tell us a bit about yourself
We play electronic rock and metal music, and we're based in London.
What sets you apart from the other artists?
We have a very independent and DIY ethos compared to a lot of bands. We book our own shows, create artwork, compose, write the songs, and mix and master all the music ourselves. There's not a lot of money in music, so we want to be as self-sufficient as possible and learn all these skills ourselves. We also believe that if you work hard and do your best, you can do anything you want.
What’s the back-story of your music?
Our new album, 'Constellations' is all about finding positivity, even in the darkest and bleakest of times. We have all been through struggles, whether it's depression or sadness. In the end, no matter what the situation is, it is you who decides whether you are happy or not and you are in control of your emotions. For example, 'Guiding Light' is a song that describes just that. It's about finding the will to move forward, even when you are facing uncertainty or sadness. Each song has an interesting story and concept behind them, and we try to create artwork that works in harmony with them and we'd love our audience to interpret them in a way that resonates with them the most.
What are you working on at the moment?
We have just released our debut album, 'Constellations', and we will be touring the UK in February 2018 to promote it. We're doing seven dates, starting at The Underworld Camden in London, Buffalo Bar in Cardiff, Mama Roux's in Birmingham, Aatma in Manchester, Jumpin' Jacks in Newcastle, Rockmantic Weekender in Carlisle and finishing our tour at Audio in Glasgow. The tour is going to be really fun. We booked six of the shows ourselves and will be promoting it ourselves without an organizer or promotion company. We're really going for the DIY spirit, but at the same time, we hope that it will be a successful tour.
Whilst we are preparing our tour, we're currently working on our second album, and will probably play some new songs that are not on Constellations, so our audience will have something else to look forward to.
