FRUITZ, Four piece Rock’n’Roll/Guitar/Indie Band from Dublin, Ireland.
Four Dublin lads with inspiration from Oasis, U2, Arctic Monkeys, The Beatles, The Stone Roses, The Smith’s, Slaves, Catfish And The Bottlemen, Blossoms.
The Band Consists of;
•James Keegan- (Vocals, Guitar).
•Adam Whelehan- (Bass, Backing Vocals).
•Jamie Bond -(Guitar, Backing Vocals).
•Conor Wallnut- (Drums).
Debut EP, “5ive A Day”, which consists of song; “Midnight Romancer”, “Come with Me”, “Alicia”, “Damage”, “That Girl”. Was recorded in Displace Studios, North Dublin and released August 11th, 2017 on Spotify, ITunes, Apple Music, Google Play, Deezer, etc. The EP done fantastically, receiving thousands of streams in a matter of hours, world-wide. Hard copies of the EP can be purchased by contacting the band or purchasing one at a show.
The EP has received great reviews from many reporters such as REMY, who described it as “Good O’L Rock’n’Roll, And Dublin promoters labeling the energetic guitar band as “A Wall Of Sound” and the group being compared to a 21st century Oasis.
The Dublin Group made there Radio debut in September, 2017 at Dublin Radio Station, Near FM on the All For Nothing Show with Liam Pepper. After the EP being played on air the band played two songs on air which don’t feature on the EP, “Keep On Keeping On” and “The Maker” in the acoustic setting, which had fans of the band calling for more releases.
The band have come a long way since playing there Debut Show at Dublin’s “The Grand Social” supporting Irish band “Cronin”.
The band is now known for there pulsating Live performances around Dublin’s top venues and have pulled in an exciting, young fan bass which contribute to there amazingly energetic shows which have taken places in Dublin music venues such as The Grand Social, Whelans, Stage 19, The Tivoli, The International Bar and the groups shows are becoming the talk of the town.
After a busy summer run of performances the band are now working on new music,while still delivering there high profile performances.
