'Beautifully composed digital pop' (CLASH)

'SO talented and making such ridiculously great songs, we're consistently blown away' (BBC Introducing)
Grace spent four years working with a producer (2012 - 2016) developing her style and confidence as an artist. They had over 30 songs together and just as things were starting to gain momentum (with a spot play on Radio 1 by Huw Stephens and a two night support slot at The Shepherds Bush Empire), it all fell apart. Cue a lengthy legal battle over rights and an unwelcome, year long, stagnant, musical hiatus. Grace made the difficult decision to walk away...from everything. She started from scratch, completely independently and got back in the studio; working on new songs and developing a new, more truthful and unique sound. With baited breath she released her debut EP “Savage Grace" in 2017 grabbing tastemaker acclaim from THE405, WONDERLAND and CLASH Magazine among others. She followed the release with a UK tour culminating in a sold out headline show at the Archspace in London.
With ongoing support from BBC Introducing and listed as one of ELLE’s ‘100 Most Inspiring Women’, the young UK artist and 4 x UK Beatboxing champion has since been shortlisted for a number of competitions and funding opportunities including having two tracks selected and entered into the SALUTE Music “Top 10”, winning the "Public Choice Award" for the B-side Remix Project as well as being selected for the Emerging Artist and Transmission Fund through Help Musicians UK.
2018 has kicked off to to a great start, with Grace being nominated for "Best Female Solo Act" and "Best Songwriter" at the Unsigned Music Awards alongside impressive acts such as Ray Blk and Jorja Smith and also had a track selected for the highly competitive spot on "Fresh on The Net Faves". She was also selected from over 5,000 entries to compete in the Isle of Wight "New Blood” Quarter-Finals alongside 40 other live acts.
Grace's first single of the year ‘Headlights’ was made track of the day on CLASH music, followed by a premiere on "The Line Of Best Fit" with her cover of The Cardigans 1998 classic "My Favourite Game"; both maintaining her signature electronic pop sound matched with ethereal tones. She has a string of releases to come this year and will be playing a few notable festival slots (Including Beatherder and Field day) as well as a Headline show at the Sebright Arms on 27th May.
