Graces is the brainchild of songwriter Stephen Harrison. Fresh from sharing stages with Feeder, The Sherlocks and The Amazons, the band sold out their first headline show in their home city of Sheffield earlier this year. After working with producer Phil Gornell (Bring Me The Horizon, All Time Low) on a series of well-received singles, Graces pricked the ears of the mainstream music press including BBC Introducing, Clash Magazine and Already Heard with their angst-driven cinematic indie pop. 2017 was a crucial year for Graces who played the main room of Plug for Tramlines Festival and Kendal Calling during a busy festival season.

Graces is based on an endearment for neon teen cinema and a love for youthful exuberance. Combining ambient soundscapes, distorted guitars and recognisable pop sensibilities the band stirs catharsis not only in the writer, but also the listener. Reconciling a generation that is told it is wandering into a world of self depreciation, unmatchable celebrity idols, with immediate pleasures of drugs and sex being the most sought after commodities.
Graces is not about the condemnation of these things, rather it embraces them and charts the volatile and mistake-ridden journey of growing up, with its whole aesthetic and sound based on an endearment for neon teen cinema and a love for youthful exuberance.

Find the dirt, then celebrate it.
