Tell us a bit about yourself?
We are a hard rock/metal band from the East Midlands UK. Our influences range from the 70's giants such as Deep Purple, Black Sabbath and Led Zeppelin through the 80's into bands like Metallica, Megadeth and more modern bands such as Avenged Sevenfold and Dream Theater. We don't limit our range and you'll hear that if you listen to more than one song of ours.
There are a lot of emerging artists in the UK right now. What sets you apart from the rest?
I don't know what a lot of the emerging artists sound like. That's not to say we don't like new music. I love discovering new bands. What we do is whatever we think sounds good without thinking 'It should be this style' or 'We can't put that in. It doesn't fit the genre.' Nothing is off the table. If we like it. It goes in. Maybe we're not very different to everyone else. I think that's more for the listener to tell us.
What’s your back-story?
Our tracks cover a range of topics from environmentalism (Change), to mental health (Here We Are) and the normal relationship stuff we all encounter. The track 'No Friend of Mine' is a particular favourite for it's jazzy intro but I love the chorus lyrics. 'If you want me baby get in line, after all you're giving me the eye, i got a lot of love but not tonight, I know you're no friend of mine,' I love the whole album and could go through the whole thing but it's best just to listen to it yourself.
What are you working on at the moment?
We are currently working on promoting 'Here We Are' however we can and writing song for the next album already. it's none stop.
What's the first song you remember hearing?
I think it was something by Michael Jackson. He was and still is the best pop artist of all time. It might have been Dirty Diana. I'm not sure but he was my first musical love. I still love it now. I know it's not metal but his music is so good.
You're in a Karaoke Bar - What's your go to song?
I'm not the singer but I can just about pull off Bryan Adams 'The only thing that looks good on me'.
What was the first gig you went to?
Sum 41 at the Ice Arena in Nottingham. I was into pop punk at that age. I don't care too much for it now but i remember enjoying it.
Which song do you wish you'd written?
There are loads. Anything by Michael Jackson. Classic Metallica.
Which song changed your life?
It was Limp Bizkit 'Take a look Around'. The mission impossible 2 soundtrack. That song wanted to make me play the guitar because I loved that heavy guitar sound and the way it made me feel. very aggressive. It's probably the song that got me into heavy music. I don't like to admit it too much now but this is just between us right?...
Which song would you like played at your funeral?
I'll be dead so i won't care. Possibly my entire discography in a last ditch attempt to promote my music even when i'm dead.
What song is stuck in your head right now?
Michael McDonald - 'I keep forgetting'. That should require an explanation i feel but i don't have one.
What was the first Album you bought?
Kid Rock - The history of Rock. It had the Undertaker Theme song 'American Badass' on it and i was big into WWE/WWF at the time.
Which song made you want to play music?
Limp Bizkit as mentioned before but I'll add Iron Maiden and Joe Satriani to that as they did inspire me as well.
