London quartet Honey Lung, are set to release scuzzy new single ‘Sophomore’ on Killing Moon Records on
August 16th. A reflective, grungy tune full to the brim with shoegaze haziness and anthemic choruses, the
track builds to a raucous climax, showcasing the brilliant evolving talent of songwriter Jamie Batten.

2017 saw Honey Lung play The Great Escape Festival, headline the BBC Introducing stage at Reading &
Leeds and embark on a short tour of India, culminating in them playing the main stage at NH7 Festival in
Huw Stephens championed their previous single ‘Stuttering Mind via his ‘Best of BBC Introducing Playlist’.
BBC Introducing London and Devon have long been supporters of the band, inviting them onto the show as ‘Featured Artists’. New music stalwart, John Kennedy of Radio X also invited them onto his show for a live session, just two months after releasing their debut single. Having received prior support from Louder than War, Dork, The Metro, Clash, Line of Best Fit and many more in their blossoming career, demonstrating the massive potential that the four-piece have.
After a short writing break in Berlin, 2018 has seen them record with Max Bloom (Yuck), tour the UK with
Moose Blood, play Liverpool Sound City and return to The Great Escape Festival. The summer holds
further festival appearances at Latitude and Neverworld, and the release of new single ‘Sophomore’.
