I am a singer-songwriter from Leicester and I write and record my own original music.
My main genre of music is acoustic folk but I also experiment with other similar genres such as indie-folk and folk-rock.
My main passion towards writing and recording music is to create feelings for my audience - I believe this helps my audience understand and relate my work to parts in their own lives.
There are a lot of emerging artists in the UK right now. What sets you apart from the rest?
I have been playing and learning music from the age of 7 and my inspirations come from all over the place, ranging from Bon Iver to Nothing But Thieves. Absolutely all of my musical work is done in my bedroom in my house... This includes learning, practicing, writing, recording and producing.
What’s your back-story?
All of my songs are written from experiences from different parts of my life which I believe the consumers of music must hear about, such as love and loss. This also means that all of my tracks and songs are written from the heart and are recorded to perfection (as for one microphone in a bedroom can go) to express the most real and understandable feelings for the listeners.
What are you working on at the moment?
I am planning on releasing lots of new singles in the next 6 months (one of which is coming soon) and I will be releasing an alternative EP in contrast to my debut album called 'Sorry, Just a Thought' in the next 3 months - this will include instrumental and spoken word songs.
