Tell us a bit about yourself?
We're Lacuna Bloome a four-piece indie rock band from Brighton, UK, with catchy melodies, soaring guitars, and anthemic choruses. Influenced by the likes of Sundara Karma, the Amazons, and Wolf Alice. After submitting the demo of ‘Alright’, we bagged one of six spots at 2017's Great Escape Festival through 'The Real Unsigned' competition. Since then, we’ve sold out our first headline show in Brighton and have shared the stage with the likes of Otherkin, Cassia and Marsicans.
There are a lot of emerging artists in the UK right now. What sets you apart from the rest?
Our diverse set of songs will take you on a journey from moshing, to belting out massive choruses, to wanting to give your best mate a hug. We don't just wanna write about relationships and love. We wanna capture the spirit of today's youth culture, and what it means to be alive!
What’s your back-story?
After we submitted the demo of our track 'Alright' we got a spot on 2017's Great Escape Festival! We couldn't believe it as the demo was recorded in Sam's bedroom using the worst equipment you could imagine; a podcast mic and programmed drums were the go to...
