Lissy Taylor was born 2000 in Trentham, Stoke-on-Trent England, is a young up and coming singer songwriter with a distinctive voice and a skill for writing emotionally charged lyrics.
Time spent living in Lexington Kentucky USA during her teenage years provided inspiration and influenced Lissy's songwriting and music style.

Lissy released her debut EP Reminds Me Of You, at the age of 16, recorded at Broken Crow Studios, Lexington Kentucky, supported by Nashville musicians Michael Severs lead guitar and Mark Prentice bass and keys. Her song Home was used by the City of Lexington on their campaign Lex Give Back, organised by Leadership Lexington, affiliated with the international Charter for Compassion. www,LexGiveBack.org
Lissy returned to England in 2017 to commence a BA honors degree in songwriting at the British and Irish Modern Music Institute.
By the age of just 18, Lissy had accumulated an impressive array of performances in the UK and the USA in renowned music establishments, Including New York's Rockwood Music Hall, Winners Bar and Belcourt Tap, Nashville Tn, and live concerts on the Red Barn Radio stage in Lexington Kentucky in 2017 and 2018.
She has also been making a big impression in the UK, sharing the festival main stage at Neverworld in 2017 as solo acoustic with Blossoms and headliner Jake Bugg, Band in 2018 Lissy returned with a full band ahead of Tom Grennan, We are Scientists and Bastille (18) Winning a music Award January 2018 from a local radio 6 Towns Radio. Lissy has been supported by BBC Introducing Stoke, recording 2 live sessions and was invited to perform on the Introducing Stage at BBC Countryfile Live at Blenheim Palace, Woodstock.
Lissy will be releasing new music in 2019.
