Played the likes of Isle of Wight, Y-Not?, Kendal Calling and Reading festivals, Mint are taking the UK by storm. Receiving recognition from Radio X, BBC Introducing and even ITV\'s This Morning, the UK is really starting to get right behind Mint. Other than being described as \"Grimsby\'s Finest\", Mint are describes as pretty, glittery, sinister and simply captivating. Some aspects of their sound are blatantly compared to the \"Humbug\" era of Alex Turners writing as well as having the vocal elements of The Strokes and the glamorous elements of The Cure laced in there!

Recognised for their hair, explosive live shows and huge catchy choruses, Mint have been labelled as \"Big in 2017\" by Fred Perry. Supported by numerous playlists by Spotify, their last two singles have been storming successes! \"Elise\" their first big breakthrough had clocked around 250,000 streams in a little under 5 months! Mint met at a party and between the 4 of them they vowed to carry the party on. Writing songs about growing up in a \"dead\" town, girl troubles and partying, Mint are veterans at crafting a song you can sing along with. At their shows you can expect giant inflatables being crowd surfed on, fireworks and lots and lots of alcohol!

Their latest track \"St Oxford\" has been recorded by Sugar House as well as being mastered by Robin Schmidt who has mastered the likes of Arctic Monkey\'s \"AM\", Wolf Alice\'s \"My Love Is Cool\" as well as the debut album by The 1975. Its being supported by Radio X and has already released a UK Tour around its release.

Inspired by more than meets the eye. The music Mint make is said to be \"worlds apart\" from what Zak, Veggie, Bambi and Lenny actually listen to. Mint have a Spotify playlist public for their fans to listen to and it consists of Michael Jackson, INXS, Royal Blood, October Drift, Madonna and Cyndi Lauper. Mint admit that they \"love to party\" and this playlist is the soundtrack to that partying they take part in. This influence all goes into the slow cooker to make \"Music to make you kiss strangers\".
