Niamh Sygrove is a 20 year old LGBT music producer/artist from Leicester, UK. She specialises in electronic witch-house and synth pop music, as well as dabbling with film compositions, video game compositions and remixes. She recently moved to London back in 2017 to study Electronic Music Production at the University of West London. She is currently approaching her third year at university, aiming to graduate in the summer of 2020.

Niamh is an eager and dependable musician. She is best known for her singing, song writing, producing and drumming abilities; all of these have been self-taught.

Niamh lists Grimes as her biggest musical influence based on her self-taught, DIY producing nature, as well as sharing similarities in genre and being inspired by her as a strong female character in the music industry. Her other influences include the likes of: Flume, Aly & AJ, Banks, PVRIS, Poppy, Lady Gaga, Allie X, Charli XCX and Kim Petras.

Niamh first discovered the producing world in 2016 when her GCSE music teacher introduced her to the Steinberg program Cubase. She began learning the basics of the DAW for pieces of coursework which she had to complete, leading onto her purchasing the program herself at home in order to take her musical talents outside of the classroom.

Her musical career then began to take off when she decided to open a SoundCloud page in 2016, posting remixes which she had made to practice and to improve her production skills. Her first posted remix of Machine Gun Kelly and Camila Cabello's "Bad Things" currently sits with over 300,000 plays, and is still growing everyday. Since then she has worked on remixes of songs by Lady Gaga, Kim Petras, Grimes and Banks for fun.

She then decided to branch out further with her music, releasing her debut single "Calyx" in May, 2017. The song went on to air on BBC Introducing Radio in York and North Yorkshire. Since then she has released two more singles: "Complicated" featuring Larren in June, 2017, and "Don't Try" in May, 2018.

Niamh then released her debut EP "Save Me" in October, 2018 as a SoundCloud Halloween exclusive. The lead single "Save Me" itself went on to air on BBC Introducing Radio in both the East Midlands and Nottinghamshire.

She was previously mentored by electronic/r&b duo Marian Hill. She recently collaborated with The Ting Tings, remixing their latest single "Blacklight" for a special limited edition version of their 2018 album, "The Black Light".

Niamh is currently working on her next EP as well as her debut LP.
