Pacific are a Piano-driven Alternative/Indie band from Northwich, Cheshire. The band consists of brothers/songwriters Anthony Orzel – Vocals/Piano and Daniel Orzel – Bass/Synths/Backing Vocals, Dave Bithell – Lead Guitars and Drew Burns – Drums/Percussion.
Fast rising through the ranks of the UK music scene, Pacific are one of the most hotly tipped acts of the moment. The release of the band's debut EP, What Are You Waiting For, followed the success of its lead single ‘Time to Forget’, which reaped Pacific’s first BBC Radio 1 play on the Huw Stephens show, who tipped them as an exciting young band to watch. In addition, the band has received strong backing from other areas of the BBC, such as BBC 6’s Mark Radcliffe, who praised the band’s music as “outstanding” and BBC Introducing’s Rob Adcock, who has invited the band for live interviews and sessions.
Fresh off the back of their 2017 single release ‘Blinded’ - described by reviewers as “anthemic vocals, addictive guitars and euphoric moments” - Pacific’s brand new single, 'Life in Short', is out now. The official music video for Life in Short launched with an exclusive first look unveiled courtesy of Metro. The single has received exposure in clubs and radio stations across the UK, as well as getting on many high street playlists in multiple retail outlets throughout the country.
Pacific have made huge steps on the live circuit in the summer of 2017, completing a festival tour across the UK and sharing stages with the likes of Razorlight, Maximo Park, Toploader, The Hoosiers, Starsailor and more. The band are looking forward to sharing the stage with more great acts on future gigs and tours, with their booking agent MN2S championing the band. Their big melodies, energetic grooves and anthemic sound represents the band’s own musical excitement and they promise to deliver much more in the near future.
