Based in Cardiff, South Wales, the band have roots all around the UK; spanning between London and Carmarthenshire.
Coming from different musical backgrounds creates a fusion of genres in PEAKS own tracks. Predominantly post and melodic hardcore, the angst female vocals gives an edge to the group not often seen. PEAKS take influence from other acts not only on a musical and creative standpoint but also a business one. Bands that influence PEAKS writing style ranges from meloncoly bands such as Casey, Being As An Ocean and My Chemical Romance for the emotion; aggressive bands such as Beartooth, Underoath and Hundredth for the fast paced attitude and finally alternative bands that hit the mainstream such as Bring Me The Horizon, Don Broco and Boston Manor for understanding what people are listening to in the local scenes and to apply the sound we have made to that.
A band that wants you to leave the real world and your real worries behind you when listening to their plethora of sound; be it live or in the comfort of your choice.
as of the inception, PEAKS have been trying independence in running the band with the help of Unit 13, Woodcroft Audio and numerous South Wales promoters. PEAKS are ready to come to your nearest alternative venue to show you how different they are to the norm.
PEAKS plan to release a three part single in monthly succession post 26/11/18 which is called Avantamore. the release will be available on all major streaming platforms incl. YouTube, Spotify, iTunes, Apple Music, Google Play, Deezer, Amazon Music, Shazam etc.
We are a group of close friends that share the same love for visual and audio art and want nothing more than to make a sustainable future in this industry while growing our fan base and making more friends.
