Tell us a bit about yourself?
"Post-EDM producer reigning from the bass music capital of the world, the UK. Inspired by artists such as Justice, Oliver, SebastiAn and Gesaffelstein but also contemporary electronic music producers such as Moody Good, Aphex Twin, Porter Robinson and Burial."
There are a lot of emerging artists in the UK right now. What sets you apart from the rest?
"I'm not apart of the cookie cutter culture of electronic music that is conflicting with popular culture. I always aim to give an alternate vision of where I think electronic music will be heading in the years to come!"
What’s your back-story?
"I had a not so typical gateway into electronic music, my first exposure to electronic music was through video games. Notably Midnight Club LA. The soundtrack on that game was full of interesting music, in particular it had songs such as the Justice remix of Electric Feel by MGMT and Idealism by Digitalism. Hearing this music got me incredibly excited so I started to research this at the age of 9. I was then curious about how they made this music and then at age 14, I downloaded FL Studio and began (trying) to make my own music and crafting my own creative identity."
What are you working on at the moment?
"I'm currently working on my second EP, I'm going to put all of my effort into making this a body of work I can look back and be proud of, with the emphasis on minimalism and the beauty that surrounds simplicity. Aiming for an early 2018 release!"
What's the first song you remember hearing?
"Girls Aloud - Sound of The Underground. That song even by today's standards still sounds so gritty, those amen breaks though..."
You're in a Karaoke Bar - What's your go to song?
"A Thousand Miles by Vanessa Carlton or Gimme More by Britney Spears"
What was the first gig you went to?
"My first proper gig was Porter Robinson live in London in 2014, I went with my dad and cried during 3 songs"
Which song do you wish you'd written?
"Windowlicker by Aphex Twin, so so so ahead of its time."
Which song changed your life?
"Am I allowed to say album instead? Probably Cross by Justice"
Which song would you like played at your funeral?
"Bad Girls - M.I.A lmao"
What song is stuck in your head right now?
"Yeah Right by Vince Staples, probably has been for 6 months"
What was the first Album you bought?
"Demon Days - Gorillaz"
Which song made you want to play music?
"Justice - Valentine, purely for the composition of that song."
