Young Nottingham band Silver Wilson started life in 2016 and using fresh ideas they began making superb indie music with an original twist. Incorporating new technology with a mix of indie of guitars, bass, and drums, the band have organically built a loyal following for their summery danceable guitar-indie-pop.
Latest single ‘Let You Go’ is bound to excite your ears! Along with their attention to detail mixed with feel good riffs and catchy melodies give this band a great push into the modern music industry. This track proves that you don’t have to sacrifice the desire to party when writing an emotive song. You won't be disappointed.
Previous single ‘I’ll Be There’ is a tropical electro infused indie track that’s vibed for summer relaxing and contemplation with a beach club vibe recalling perhaps Bombay Bicycle Club, Coasts and Circa Waves. It’s a sound that’ll find lovers spanning genres and styles from its bass loaded rhythmic backdrop through its crystal indie guitars and colourful sweeping synths sounds. It’s a gloriously big and sentimental ice cream scoop that is set to make them a band on the tip of everyone’s tongue.
“Silver Wilson are quickly gaining fans with their summery, cheerful vibes and excellent pop tunes with an original twist. They’re a fun band with hearts of gold, trying their best to invoke those summer feelings all year round.” - Backseat Mafia

They're engaging performers, and the kind of band you can foresee a bright future for when it comes to radio airplay; there's certainly something commercially appealing about their sound.” - Fiction Is Not Imagination
“Their glorious mix of indie is as easy on the ear as ice cream is to the tongue. Formed in 2015 the band incorporate new technology with a mix of indie of guitars, bass, and drums, the band have organically built a loyal following for their summery danceable guitar-indie-pop.” - Gig Soup
“Silver Wilson will get everyone dancing with their ridiculously energetic Indie-Pop vibes. The boys mix classic Indie and guitars with some Electro making it “danceable guitar Indie Pop” and that it is.” - NUSIC

Tell us a bit about yourself? We are an indie 4 piece which consists of; Brandon on lead vocals, Elliot driving the Bass, Gabe tinkling the keys and finally Tom fuelling the engine on drums! We're originally from Nottingham and have always be into writing our own music since 2013. We started releasing music as Silver Wilson back in 2016 and not looked back since.
What’s your back-story? There’s no real super secret or incredibly detailed back stories, but I guess with our new song ‘Let You Go’ theres a bit of trivia behind it. We used to play it when the band first started, and only played it for our first handful of shows, before we got some better material together. So when we came up with the instrumental demo of the new single, nothing was jelling lyrically, or melodically, so I started singing the lyrics for Let You Go over it and it all snapped into place. So if you were a fan from the start, you probably heard it in it’s first form.
What are you working on at the moment? At the minute, we’re working on the next batch of releases. Just getting them finalised and produced. Along side that, we’re going to be organising some headline shows, so keep your eyes pealed for them!
What's the first song you remember hearing? Tricky question, because we’ve always been sharing and listening to music together way before we were a band, but I guess it was some of Bombay Bicycle Clubs early material. The classics like “Always Like This” ect..
You're in a Karaoke Bar - What's your go to song? It’s always going to be Toto’s - Africa. No and’s if’s or but’s. That is also the only song I’d do karaoke for as well, it doesn’t feel right otherwise (also maybe Rhinestone Cowboy).
What was the first gig you went to? So Elliot being the oldest member of SW can remember going to his first proper gig when he was 14 and he went to see a band Called The Gossip. They are an American 3-piece band fronted by Beth Ditto! They were just nuts, and made so much noise and at the time, we the hype all over the UK! (I think it was 2007!
Which song do you wish you'd written? We’ve debated many times on this topic, with many different outcomes, but we’ve come to a consensus now on ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ by Queen. It’s just a timeless classic. I guess you don’t have to ask why we chose that.
Which song changed your life? A lot of songs changed my life in different ways, but a big one for me is Lovers Carvings by Bibio. I remember hearing it on an Amazon advert and being totally obsessed.
Which song made you want to play music? I know it’s really cliche, but ‘I Feel Fine’ by the Beatles. A lot of people say the Beatles, but it’s definitely true in my case. I remember hearing it on Beatles Rock Band and just being like “ok, I want to write some riffs like that”, I still never have, but one day I will (I hope).
