Born in Coventry, West Midlands in July 1995, Skatta is a special kind of artist, with a passion for his art form and a distinctive sound that sets him apart.

At 22 years old, the emcee, real name 'Nathan Hunter' has already achieved more than most at his age, and despite coming from a city that's not exactly deep in musical history Skatta is changing that on a daily basis. Having collaborated with both American and British singers, rappers and producers, Skatta is laying down tracks for a new generation... and the music industry is listening up.

In 2016, Skatta was requested as a guest on BBC 1xtra, and host Sian Anderson's described him as "one of my favourites to ever do it", describing his voice as "captivating".

Skatta previously released his debut album ‘Skatta’d Pieces’ in July 2016. ‘Skatta’d Pieces’ is Nathan’s first full album – which has had a lot of hard work put into it.

The rising Coventry star Skatta has managed to produce a 13-track physical album, which is available on Amazon and other online platforms. The album received a lot of positive response from fans and Skatta has also been personally meeting fans to give them a copy of the album.

The album includes collaborations with other music artists and producers from Coventry right to Detroit, Following airplay on BBC Radio 1 and Hits93 Toronto, Midlands rapper Skatta powers on with the visual and single release for his album's title track 'Skatta'd Pieces' as the young Coventry rapper further shows his diversity as an artist, He enlists Mississippi singer Caitlyn The Songstrist as he fuses a soulful instrumental and jazzy hook with a solid set of passionate bars.
