Loud Sounds | Everybody Has A Story |
Mixing massive guitars, pop hooks and huge choruses, Sonder combine elements of early grunge with a modern twist of alt rock.
Formed in Tamworth, Staffordshire by guitarist and vocalist Kraig Fallows, lead guitarist Andrew Monckton, bassist Luke Watson & drummer Reece Mason at the end of 2016, when the four members came together after the demise of their respective previous projects and decided to try and form a band that mixed all the different styles and influences that the members love.
Sonder burst on to their local music scene in June of 2017 when they released their debut three track E.P 'Papered Cracks'. They followed this up by making 'Make Up Your Mind' the focal point of the record, which quickly received radio play all over the country. They then released the music video for 'Make Up Your Mind' and gained over 1500 watches in just over a month.
Live shows followed the release of the E.P and saw the band play sold out showcases at the O2 Academy and the O2 Institute in Birmingham
Sonder quickly started to gain a reputation for their high energy shows, which lead to them getting hand picked for notable support slots with Fizzy Blood, Fangclub & The Fallen State.
In August 2018, Sonder will be releasing a brand new single called 'Karma...'. It is the first of three singles to be released in 2018 from their upcoming four track, self titled E.P which is due for release in December. Alongside the release of 'Karma...', Sonder are playing their first headline show, where on August 11th they headline the O2 Academy in Birmingham.
With more notable support slots in the pipeline for the rest of 2018, and then moving onto touring and festival slots in 2019 and beyond, Sonder are looking to continue to flourish as a band and aim to continue growing their burgeoning fan base.
