Learn more about me
There are a lot of emerging artists in the UK right now. What sets you apart from the rest?
This is difficult for us to answer, being such sweet and humble Norwegians... Our noisy, guitar-heavy sound and strong melodies?
Is there a back-story that your new fans can relate to?
Recording our EP with our producer Tord Øverland Knudsen, we still had not decided on a name for the band. The upcoming EP “Distant Star” features a song inspired by the score for Steven Spielberg’s “Close Encounters of the Third Kind.” While recording, Tord had to sit through hours of heated discussions about a name for the band and the – as it was known then – “Spielberg-song”. Eventually he said: “Guys, why don’t you just call the band “Spielbergs”. And to that we said “OK!”
What are you working on at the moment?
We just finished our debut EP “Distant Star”, which we’re releasing on April 27th, and are now in the process of finishing up our debut album. We are going to release as much music as we can this year and we also hope to do a bit of touring on your lovely island as well.
