We are guitar rock duo Terror Bites. influences range from Queens of the stone age to Blur.
We love all things punk, post punk and Rock and roll inspired. Were both from Bournemouth, a small town on the south coast of England with a slowly diminishing music scene.
We are both in another project called Dumb Lovers (https://artists.nme.com/artist/dumb-lovers/) which is our more 80's pop inspired project but Terror Bites was something we felt that we had to pursue as we felt their was a lack of noisy, head banging guitar rock in recent years. our love of hardcore and rock and roll music lead us to work on our sound in a completely organic way. so if you like it loud and sweaty then come to one of our shows, you wont hear a more gritty sound thats collaborated with catchy riffs and stomping beats.
'The South Coast duo came together to start writing music that defined them. In the realisation that things didn't need to be over complicated, the bands sound formed organically into the head bopping, catchy garage punk sound. quirky riffs and foot stomping rhythm is the recipe for their effortlessly energetic sound.'
'Terror Bites take pride in their noisy yet charming demeanour. With a prominent ‘down to earth’ approach, the lyrics echo personal experiences with a ‘tongue in cheek’ attitude. Terror Bites comprises Robin Clark (Vocals & Guitar) and James Gordelier (drums).'
