Grimsby based four-piece ‘The Brookes’ comprising of bassist Elliot Gant, drummer Lauren Taylor, lead guitarist Fraser Macdonald, guitarist-frontman Benjamin Keal are in the midst of reviving their very own version of modern punk-rock with a taste for indie influenced undertones. ‘The Brookes’ obtain a sound powered by feminism, politics, and deception; infusing fury into their renewed set-list packed provocatively.

Alongside the refined tracks; The Brookes pride themselves on having the ability to generate sound large enough to fill their venues making it impossible not to listen which is vital as the importance of punk is to pay attention – an aspect executed eloquently by this four-piece. Whilst enticing the youth with their flair of modern-day punk, ‘The Brookes’ absorb audience emotion and feed upon it within their stage presence – a dark beguiling aura surrounds frontman Ben Keal supported by punchy bass-lines and punk-esqe guitar riffs providing a set laced with attitude. ‘The Brookes’ provide a seamless image for the modern day angry youth.

The Brookes have supported bands the likes of 'The Pigeon Detectives', 'The Strypes' and 'The Brew', 'Reverend And The Makers', 'Scouting For Girls' along with various other successful acts.

In March 2015 we were aired on BBC Radio 2 on Dermot O'leary's show, prime time on the Saturday evening.

We have been in various magazines and also quoted as 'the revitalization of British guitar music' and also 'the music for modern days angry youth'.

Our singles have been featured on MTV, VEVO and all online selling platforms.
