Tell us a bit about yourself? Indie rock band based in Cambridge, UK, with an emphasis on the rock side of things. Tunes are built on raw live energy, guitar interplay and catchy rhythms. Bringing a fresh twist on indie rock (Arctic Monkeys, The Strokes) , using no frills production, taking influence from 60s garage rock (The Kinks, The Sonics) and 70s post punk (Television, The Clash), while also using an eclectic range of funk and jazz influences on bass.
Fully formed in December 2017.
Jack Ogden (guitar/vocals), 17
Simon Haynes (guitar/vocals),17
Matt Turner (drums), 17
Jamie Went (bass guitar), 17
There are a lot of emerging artists in the UK right now. What sets you apart from the rest? We combine energy and no frills production with crafted musicianship. All the guitars play off each other nicely rhythmically and harmonically, while the drums sit in the pocket and provide a bouncy, groovy feel.
What’s your back-story? None really, we're fucking dullards
What are you working on at the moment? New music with a heavier tone, and recording more finished tracks. Emphasising the 'rock' over the 'indie'. Recently been listening to more hip hop/funk as well as heavier desert/stoner rock which may well factor in.
