Tell us a bit about yourself?
Jack: "We are The Harringtons, three 19 year olds from an ex-mining village where nothing special ever happens. We tour up and down the country showing off to as many people as we can."
There are a lot of emerging artists in the UK right now. What sets you apart from the rest?
Jack: "We're so different from the rest. The rest wear leather jackets and have long hair and sing about how a girl they like doesn't like them back. F*** that, we write real tunes, we're real people, with real ambition, and we dress well."
What’s your back-story?
Jack: "The back story is, life's a s***house. Music is one of the only escapes from boring old life, we want people to come along to the shows, have a great time, and just lose themselves in the moment. Not saying a song is gonna solve your troubles, but it's a good start."
What are you working on at the moment?
Jack: "Wait and see.. we released an EP - that's available on all platforms. You should be seeing a single soon too, maybe. No I'm kidding there's more tracks coming! Or is there?"
What's the first song you remember hearing?
Jack: "Happy Birthday"
You're in a Karaoke Bar - What's your go to song?
Jack: "Not too much of a karaoke fan, unless I've had five too many, in which case my inner Elvis might make an appearance. ahuha"
What was the first gig you went to?
Jack: "My mam dragged me to a Westlife gig back in the day, not the most amazing first gig story.. but no point telling porkies"
Which song do you wish you'd written?
Jack: "Breakthru - Queen. You've probably not heard it, but get it listened to.. It's one of the world's most under-appreciated masterpieces"
Which song changed your life?
Jack: "Nah, no song changed my life. Songs are just the soundtrack that you refer back to at the milestones"
Which song would you like played at your funeral?
Jack: "Another one bites the dust"
What song is stuck in your head right now?
Jack: "Another one bites the dust. hah"
What was the first Album you bought?
Jack: "First album I ever bought? Jesus, I grew up with an MP3 player, plus I was into music way before my mam used to let me get on the bus to HMV. What about first vinyl album I bought?.. Rank by The Smiths"
Which song made you want to play music?
Jack: "None in particular its something I've always done/wanted to do, I can't think back into my childhood to a point where music meant anything less to me. Its in my veins as well, mam plays, dad plays, uncles play, grandad sings, great grandad used to sing. It was always meant to be"
