Tell us a bit about yourself? The Horse Heads are very well known in their hometown (Chelmsford, Essex) for their loud and sweaty live shows. They've been a band for five years and over the years have showed influence from The Clash, Bad Brains, The Ramones and The Stooges. Their latest single 'Castles' and has been played on various radio shows like BBC Radio 1, XFM and was played many times by Steve Lamacq on BBC Radio 6.
There are a lot of emerging artists in the UK right now. What sets you apart from the rest? The current U.K charts has a depressing lack of aggressive guitar bands. We are big believers that the generation we live in are not into just one genre of music anyway. We all love different types of music and we are proud. The Horse Heads are the band to give loud rock n' roll to the people. Hell yeh man. Also, just in case your wondering, we didn't get our bandname from The Godfather, we got it cos' we nicked someones massive concrete horse head from their garden.
What’s your back-story? The band's songwriter (Ronaldo Rodriguez) writes songs about love, irritants, pricks and government surveys.
