The Jackpot Golden Boys are a rock trio from Preston, Brothers Alex & Jim on Guitar and Drums with Mike on Bass.

Heavily influenced by the 90's alternative rock scene Growing up on Weezer, faith no more, smashing pumpkins & Greenday and also liking a range of other groups from the beach boys to Iron maiden their music has always been varied over the years playing all sorts from metal to ska.

'The Jackpots' mainly write and play original music but occasionally enjoy covering a TV show theme like 'Doctor who' and 'Ric and Morty' for their Youtube channel (youtube.com/jackpot) or live they have been know to surprise audiences with a heavy rocking rendition of 'Shake it off' by Taylor Swift.
Live shows are an energetic & lively experience as they simultaneously blend heavy rocking music, catchy choruses with crowd interaction and a sprinkling of humour.

The 'Jackpots' spent many years playing the local band scene but have also toured the USA & Europe with YouTube sensation ‘The Epic Rap Battles Of History’ playing over 90 performances across 15 different countries.
Currently the band are concentrating on writing, recording and making videos and they recently recorded a new E.P in L.A, produced by Nice Peter (of ERB) as well as filming a video for the song 'Sincere' this will be their next release in early 2019 as a follow up to their 2017 'Overachiever E.P'

Their 'Overachiever E.P' was written recorded and mixed by the band at the studio where they regularly meet out in the middle of nowhere between farmers fields so they could make as much noise as they need.

Recently the band have been building a YouTube presence which has seen getting up to to all sorts including robbing a bank, escaping via boat (kind of) for their Hologram video, roaming Venice beach for their song Overachiever, recreating a 90s vibe for their cover of the sign (by ace of base) and Becoming 80s rockers for their song Bad stuff with was a tribute to the TV show Stranger things.

2019 is already looking to be a busy year with the L.A EP release, new recording and Live shows planned for the summer.
