The Sheratons are an Indie Rock band from Leeds, UK, they are set to release their third single , "Part Of A Picture" on Friday 26th of April; Following the successful releases of “Better Days” and " These Kids". The single will be available on Spotify, Soundcloud and the music video will be released on YouTube. The Sheratons are playing a launch gig at The Lending Room, Leeds, on the same night to celebrate the release.
Their first release, 'Better Days' (Oct 2017), was a great introduction to the band which demonstrated accomplished songwriting, wrapped up in a melodic 60’s guitar-driven sound that would have sat proudly amongst the big bands of 90s BritPop.
The follow up single `These Kids' (Aug 2018) takes the same theme and influences but presents it in a more edgy, visceral way. This being the bands first Recording with the acclaimed product Sugar House Productions. Powerful bass lines drive the song forward, with a more “in your face” feel than your typical verse chorus verse chorus shoutalong. This did not go unnoticed with the track being picked up by Steve Lamacq on BBC Radio 6 and Alan Raw from BBC Introducing.
The Newest addition to their catalog “Part of a Picture” brings out wrapped up nostalgia you never knew you had. This single comes hot off the press with once again the respected Sugar House Productions, known for working with bands such as Viola Beach and Glass Caves just to name a few. The bands now third single takes on a more mature sound than the latter single (These Kids) but nonetheless just as powerful.
They are being supported by BBC Introducing, with Part Of A Picture having been played several times on the show.
With an average age of only 19 they are still honing their craft but the young musicians are already being championed by BBC Radio 6 Music’s Steve Lamacq and have had a live session aired for BBC Radio Leeds.
The band is fronted by singer and guitarist Kane Bulleyment, who’s voice, sounds like "it belongs to someone 10 years older and two feet taller". With Caty Labett playing bass, Finley Ryan on guitar and the secret weapon powering the band Emma Liu on drums.
