Surf punk band Tundra burst on to the bustling Bury St Edmunds (Rock City!!) scene in 2016 and have been on a non-stop mission of infectious grunge pop domination ever since.

Consisting of three human beings called Elliott Rodger-Brown (drums/vocals), Elliot Booth (bass/vocals) and Caitilin Pegley (guitar/vocals), the trio have already supported Marmozets, Milk Teeth, Orchards, Muncie Girls and Gaffa Tape Sandy, won Bury Sound competition 2017, and played at a host of festivals including The Cambridge Strawberry Fair, Swan Fest and B Natural alongside the excellent Superglu and Dingus Khan.

They released their Life’s A Beach EP in April 2018, which The Music Blog 42 described as “a defining moment in Tundra’s already memorable history”, and their first single of 2019 'Navy Red' received widespread radio play from the likes of BBC 6 Music (Steve Lamacq), Radio X (John Kennedy), Amazing Radio and Union Jack Radio in the UK, in addition to KNRK Portland, KROQ Los Angeles, Flux FM Berlin, Radio Doble Nueve Peru and many others worldwide. Shortly after, 'Navy Red' also saw the band added to Amazon Music "Best New Bands" playlist alongside Honeyblood (I wouldn't class them as particularly new, but they're still great so I guess we can let Amazon off. Oh, but do pay those taxes, yeah?), These New South Whales, Kagoule and Allusinlove.

Their latest single 'You're Welcome' is three and a half minutes of breezy surf-punk, combining sweet harmonies with a large slab of angst and distortion. As if the timing was almost deliberate 'You're Welcome' will be available on all good streaming platforms on Friday 26th July, just in time for you to add it to all of your summer related playlists and festival soundtracks!

Tundra love gherkins, card games, making noise and crashing around on stage, and you can expect to see them doing one or all of these things in a town or city near you soon!
