Tell us a bit about yourself? I'm W4V£$, I'm a producer, drummer and spoken word artist, My parents are from Nigeria but I am raised in Birmingham. Wrecth 32 and Avelino are two artist that influence me greatly but i listen to many different types of music and create many types of beats from piano based slow beats all the way up to dark grime beats.
There are a lot of emerging artists in the UK right now. What sets you apart from the rest? I think what sets me aside from other artists is that I am from 'the ends but i have a completely different out take on life. I do not care about the typical 'roadman' life style although i was raised around it so i put my knowledge of the things i have seen from all different types of life into my music. i tap into the hard topics in my poetry and i merge my spoken word unto my music creating a different genre in itself.
What’s your back-story? Get to know me - The song is mix of a spoken word piece and a beat I made and it deals with a lot of personal issues that includes struggles with mental health from a young age while feeling alone and the hope of actually making it in the music industry one day.
What are you working on at the moment? At the moment i am focused on creating an ep containing 6 single, it quite difficult as a producer as i m consistently relying on artist but there is a mix between that and me recording my own vocals for the spoken word pieces, i have 3 spoken word/vocal songs and the tree other songs that are very energetic/grimey.
