Tell us a bit about yourself?
We're a four piece Punk Rock from the Midlands, formed in late 2015 by brothers Paul and Steven Beaumont later adding old friends Steven Cook and Anton Pankhania to complete the lineup. The band have spent their first two years on tour with acts such as Beach Slang, Gnarwolves, The Hotelier, Spunge, Fangclub, Boysetsfire, Bellevue Days and more.
There are a lot of emerging artists in the UK right now. What sets you apart from the rest?
I wouldn't say standing out is the word I'd use because I'm proud of our friends music and the DIY scene we're a part of. Just get your ears onto everyone, it's easier than ever!
What’s your back-story?
Our new single Resolutions is probably all you need to know about us as a band. Fast Americana style Punk ala The Gaslight Anthem and The Menzingers mixed with lyrics focusing on life in modern Britain and the second city. The track reflects on both personal life as well as looking outward to the world with the chorus essentially giving a rabble rouse to try to keep your head above water and stay positive when everything seems doomed.
What are you working on at the moment?
We've been gigging solidly since the single came out around the UK and also writing our second EP that we'll be heading into the studio to record later in the year which will all hopefully culminate in a big hometown show with all our friends.
What's the first song you remember hearing?
Black or White by Michael Jackson
You're in a Karaoke Bar - What's your go to song?
Twist and Shout, always
What was the first gig you went to?
That would be Slipknot, One Minute Silence, In Flames and American Head Charge at the NEC in Birmingham!
Which song do you wish you'd written?
Which song changed your life?
Same as the first I remember hearing really, Black or White. It set me on the path to hearing every band I've ever loved.
Which song would you like played at your funeral?
Something quiet and minor and peaceful and slow.
What song is stuck in your head right now?
Considering I'm listening to it right now, Cashout by Fugazi
What was the first Album you bought?
HIStory by Michael Jackson
Which song made you want to play music?
It's probably something like The Kids Aren't Alright by The Offspring or Hitchin A Ride by Green Day that made me want to pick a guitar up. Both bangers to this day by the way.
